How We Calculate These Estimates
Our cost data comes from a combination of national pricing databases, regional contractor surveys, and publicly available market data. We cross-reference multiple sources to ensure our ranges reflect what real homeowners are paying in the NY and CT tri-state area.
Regional adjustments are based on local labor rates, cost-of-living indices, and historical pricing data from projects completed in each county. Westchester and Fairfield counties tend to run above baseline due to higher labor costs, stricter building codes, and older housing stock. Orange and Dutchess counties trend below baseline due to more rural markets and lower property values.
